June 27 Volunteer and Community Day of Celebration

Join us for our third annual day of volunteer and community service and celebration event! We will work from 9am-12pm, followed by a family friendly celebration from 12:00-2:00pm including food (for volunteers only), music, park tours, scavenger hunts, face painting and fun! RSVP recommended for volunteering only - SSL credits can be earned.

July 11 Water Lily & Lotus Cultural Festival

Join us for the park's signature summer event - The Water Lily & Lotus Festival! The lotus will be in full bloom and we'll need volunteers to work 2 hour shifts throughout the day to help with set-up & take down, organize events, and orient visitors. More details coming soon!

Sept 26 National Public Lands Day Volunteer Event

For our premiere service event 200 plus volunteers will assist with the removal of cut lotus from the park's ponds as well as a variety of other park improvement projects including transplanting perennials, removing invasive species, and picking up litter. Oct 10 Weed Warrior & Team Leader Training

This training will provide you with the background and skills to go from volunteer to "super volunteer"! With growing numbers, we need a few folks to step up and help lead projects during our monthly events. This training provided in partnership with DDOE will provide in-depth instruction on how to properly identify and remove invasive plants and tip on how to lead groups in this effort.
